Your Membership: Delivery

Your delivery date drives closer.

Dust off your driving gloves, and prepare your parking space because your Pivotal vehicle is on its way. By now, you might have received our email with your scheduled delivery date. In order to have a seamless handover, here are a few things you might need to keep in mind, and also help to contain your excitement.

We love to meet our members, and even more importantly we don’t want to give your Pivotal vehicle to the wrong person. This is why we ask you to be present at your first delivery so that we can cross-check your driving licence and ID.

For future deliveries and collections, let us know prior to delivery if you’d like an authorised representative to carry out the handover on your behalf. Please note they will also be required to provide ID.

The best action you can take to ensure the safety of your vehicle, is to activate your InControl account. As mentioned in the Pre Delivery section, you will have received an email prior to your delivery inviting you to activate your InControl account. You may also follow the directions in the set-up guide to get your account activated as soon as possible. 

This may seem obvious, but please remember to lock your vehicle. Over 60% of thefts occur because cars are left unlocked.

You have been provided with a faraday pouch for your keys and we ask that you use this at all times. It acts as ‘airplane mode’ for your keys, blocking the radio signals so thieves can’t intercept them.

We also fit all of our vehicles with a secondary security device to aid in the unlikely event of vehicle theft. If this device becomes visible at any point, please inform the Pivotal team, and relocate it to where it cannot be seen, for example the recess section of the boot.

We want to ensure that we are providing a vehicle to you that is in a condition that you are happy with. Prior to your delivery, we have carried out a full inspection of your Pivotal vehicle. This will identify and note any existing damage so that you will not be charged. We will take you through any points of interest upon delivery.
