When it comes to charging your Pivotal Electric Vehicle, there’s no place like home. With every Pivotal Electric Vehicle Subscription, we cover the cost of a standard home charger installation and the wall box. 

This means you can charge your electric vehicle from your home at your convenience. The home wall box chargers we provide are: 

You can manage and monitor all charging activity through an app on your phone. Which includes Auto Power Balancing to safely manage your home’s electrical load.

Standard installation of the wall box is included, which covers 90% of customer installations.

The installation will typically require private off-street parking – such as a driveway or garage – in order to connect to your home’s electricity. The installation team will be able to assess your house to determine its suitability.

You must agree to a 12-month contract to qualify for a free charger installation. After you provide us with your permission to share your contact details with the provider, they will reach out to discuss the next steps of conducting a survey on your property and getting the charge point installed.

We are currently partnering with the supplier PodPoint for the installation and the wall box charging unit. This might be subject to change based on Pivotal’s preferences in the future.

We are offering a 7 Kw/h wall box charger as part of the promotion. This is the most effective charger that we can supply to the majority of homes to ensure that it is supported by the home’s power source.

Name, Email and Telephone number. The provider will then reach out to collect home address information to arrange the survey and installation.

Pivotal covers the full cost of a standard installation. Upon referral from Pivotal to our home installation and wall box partner, you will be asked to submit a few photos of various points of interest in your home so that it can be assessed for the installation. A standard installation is an installation which contains:

  • Installation of your smart charger on a brick or plaster wall.
  • Up to 15 metres of external cabling.
  • Cable run through a single wall of up to half a metre thickness.
  • Cable clipped flush to the wall at a height of up to 6 ft.

90% of customers are eligible for our standard installation.

You will need to sign up for a 12-month contract for an I-PACE subscription.

If you end your subscription before the 12 months have been completed you will need to pay for the full payment of the charging point and installation.

There is no offer currently, however we will be making a note of the situation and when our loyalty scheme is up and running we would look to load your account with loyalty points which you would be able to redeem later in your subscription.

Assuming that you will pay around 28p per kH for power at your home, it will cost £23.94 to charge an I-PACE from empty to full.

When you are using a 7kW charger, it will take approx 13h to charge an IPACE from empty to full.

The tethered option comes fitted with a cable which you can plug into your car. The untethered uses the cable which you have been provided with, with your car. Both options are included in this promotion.
